Cutting-Edge in Disguise

"As I wandered from one quaint shop to the next, the adorable furnishings in muted tones began to blur together, but the rainbow of bright colors in e.e smith (824 Caroline St.) stood out. Painted shelves, tables, cabinets and chairs by David Marsh of Houston dominated the colorful gallery. Marsh's furniture features classic, well-made designs painted with forceful colors and loud patterns, mixing American Folk Art with contemporary painting."
